Goodbye, 2018.

Personal

Who would have thought that a year ago, so much would change? I think it’s safe to say that this year has tested so many of us. Boundaries were pushed, limits exceeded, tears were shed, hearts broken and bruised. Trust lost. But this was a year of friendships, growth, testing your limits and going beyond them. And here you are, the last day of 2018. You’ve made it.

I think this is the moment where we all take a deep breath and remember all that we have been through this year, but also recognize all the good things coming our way. Tomorrow is a fresh start to a new year. New opportunities. New adventure. New people. New memories. Put your positive intentions out into the world and be open minded.

As cliché as it may sound, leave the past in the past. Leave the negative and toxic people right where they belong and just better yourself this year. Focus on you. Wash away all the things that are stopping you from being the best person you can be. Make this year your own.

If you’re going to be at a party or an event tonight, I hope you are all safe, acting responsibly, and having fun! Take chances. If you’re shy and that girl you like is at the party, go talk to her. If the guy you’ve been speaking to is too shy to make the first move, make it yourself. If you’re feeling confident, tell that person that you like them. Get that midnight kiss with the person you love more than anything else in this world and hold them close. Seize your moment, and just live. You’ll never know what the future has in store for you if you don’t try.

I hope that tonight, as we bring in 2019, you’re surrounded by the people that love you most in this world. I hope you’re by those that have nothing but pure and genuine intentions for you. I know thats where I’ll be. Here’s to wishing all my beautiful readers a Happy New Year filled with more love, laughter, and positivity, then you can even imagine. Let’s make this year the best one yet. Sending you all positive vibes!

Love always,

Natalie
